As way of an introduction, my name is Martin Hall and I run a consultancy business which offers affordable and practical business advice, sales & marketing services and manpower to all sectors of the UK Window and Glass industry including: -
I have worked in the window industry for over 15 years across both trade and retail. For the last 12 years, I have worked for three large trade ‘super fabricators’ at a senior management, director and ownership level.
I have specific recent experience of working within a senior management team that successfully steered a highly leveraged private equity based window company through the recession resulting in the successful sale of the business. On this basis, I fully appreciate the need to increase the top line sales whilst controlling or reducing costs.
In April of this year, I decided to launch The Window Consultant whereby I have re-packaged all of the skills, expertise and experience gained within these management roles and decided to offer them on an industry wide basis to window companies of all shapes, sizes and sectors on a flexible, low cost basis.
To ensure that my consultancy and other services are fully up to date with the changing moods of the industry, I am still personally active at both a trade and retail sales level for a number of companies.
